Safety & Compliance — Our Certifications and Regulatory Standing

Our Commitment to Safety & Regulatory Compliance

In the world of luxury travel, true peace of mind is the ultimate amenity. At Lombok Cruise, the safety and security of our guests and crew are the bedrock of our operations. As a premier brand under the Juara Holding Group, we adhere to a safety culture that not only meets but exceeds both Indonesian government regulations and international maritime best practices. Our commitment to compliance is transparent, rigorous, and uncompromising.

Corporate & Legal Compliance

We operate with full legal standing and transparency within the Republic of Indonesia. This ensures accountability and provides our clients with the assurance of dealing with a reputable, officially recognized organization.

  • Registered Indonesian Entity: Lombok Cruise operates under PT Juara Pariwisata Nusantara, a fully registered Indonesian limited liability company and a subsidiary of Juara Holding Group.
  • Official Tour Operator License: We hold a valid Surat Izin Usaha Pariwisata (SIUP) / Tanda Daftar Usaha Pariwisata (TDUP), the official business license for tourism issued by the Kementerian Pariwisata dan Ekonomi Kreatif (Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy).
  • Tax Compliance: Our company is registered with a Nomor Pokok Wajib Pajak (NPWP) and is fully compliant with all Indonesian tax laws and reporting requirements.
  • Employee Welfare: All our Indonesian employees are registered for BPJS Ketenagakerjaan, the national social security and healthcare program, ensuring they have access to health insurance, retirement funds, and workplace accident coverage.

Maritime Safety & Vessel Standards

Our vetting process for partner vessels is exhaustive, with a primary focus on safety and seaworthiness.

  • Indonesian Maritime Authority Certification: Every vessel in our portfolio is fully certified by the Directorate General of Sea Transportation (Ditjen Perhubungan Laut). We verify their annual docking and seaworthiness certificates (Surat Laut) to ensure they are fit for commercial charter.
  • International Safety Standards (SOLAS/STCW): While operating in Indonesian waters, our partner vessels are equipped to a standard that aligns with international Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS) principles. This includes modern navigation equipment (GPS, radar, AIS), satellite phones, Emergency Position Indicating Radio Beacons (EPIRBs), and SOLAS-grade life rafts.
  • Crew Certification and Training: All captains and officers hold the requisite Indonesian maritime licenses (e.g., Ahli Nautika Tingkat I/II). All crew members are certified in Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers (STCW), which includes basic safety, first aid, and firefighting. We conduct our own supplementary training and regular emergency drills.

Operational Safety Protocols

Our commitment to safety extends to our day-to-day operational procedures.

  • Emergency Action Plan (EAP): We have a comprehensive EAP for all conceivable scenarios, including medical emergencies, severe weather, and technical issues. This includes established relationships with international medical evacuation services like International SOS for rapid response.
  • Real-Time Vessel Tracking: Every Lombok cruise is monitored via a 24/7 real-time GPS tracking system from our on-shore office, allowing our operations team to know the vessel’s exact location, speed, and heading at all times.
  • Weather Monitoring: We utilize advanced weather forecasting services, including data from the Indonesian BMKG, to make informed decisions on routing and itinerary adjustments, always prioritizing guest safety over schedules.
  • Comprehensive Insurance: We carry comprehensive public liability insurance that covers all aspects of our operations, providing an additional layer of financial security and peace of mind for our clients.

Industry Accreditations

Our commitment to professionalism is reflected in our membership with key industry bodies.

  • ASITA Membership: We are a proud member of the Association of the Indonesian Tours & Travel Agencies, adhering to their code of ethics and professional standards.
  • IATA Accreditation: Our IATA accreditation allows us to seamlessly ticket and manage complex international flight itineraries, ensuring a single point of contact for your entire journey.

Your safety is not a matter we delegate or take lightly. It is an active, ongoing commitment managed by our expert team. If you have any further questions about our safety and compliance protocols, please do not hesitate to contact us.
